Well, as far as we know :D
As a Hindi
film buff, I am presuming you remember the extremely well-written and enjoyable
scene from Sholay, right, the one with Jay and Mausi of Veeru’s proposal…? It
really is a great example of actually getting inspired… That is how the Masters
do it… But now, let’s give credit to the original scene too! Vijay (Kishore
Kumar, who holds the poor people’s interests at heart) gets rid of the shaadi
pundit for his own marriage…
Also, the scene for
Namak Halaal, where Arjun Singh (Big B) gets rid of prospective buyers of the
Hotel of his employer, as a mark of loyalty, of course; this has some
similarities with the scene in Half Ticket where Kishore Kumar gets rid of his
father’s business partners in order to help the house-help!
Hope you enjoy the comedy scenes and get inspired to create, but do give credit to the original inspiration also:)
